I just had to comment on this course due to the negative reviews previously posted. I couldn't disagree more! This course is awesome! They currently do not have a clubhouse, but the guy at the temp golf shop said they are just waiting for some permits to clear and then they are going be building a facility, thats refreshing to hear these days! I got far more than a simple 'how many' from the staff (I think his name was John?), he and the cart staff added to the experience and made our group feel like members.
The course is as good as ANY of the huge dollar courses and well worth the extra 10 minutes in the car, even the drive out there was beautiful. Very generous off the tees, the greens are what put this course on the map with the big boys. Rarely do you see green complexes this well designed. The course conditions were terrific, especially the greens.
I would definetly make it out to Vista before the word gets out. As this course starts to get noticed, it will no doubt end up in the top 10 courses you can play in AZ, the guys in my group have played just about everywhere and say top 5!!!
Regardless, this place should be on any list to play, and its a great value.
