Course Review and Comments
This was a great course, narrow fairways with sloping greens. The views are superb and holes 13, 14, 15 and 18 are worth the green fee alone. But the course wasn't in great shape. The grass range had few decent lies and the same for the teeing areas. Admittedly there had been some rain but the course didn't take the rain well, we usually arrived at balls plugged in the fairway. In terms of amenities, there were few food options and no beer licence. We too had the course to ourselves and it is clear the course needs to be managed. Maybe wait until next Spring 2010 when the new management is (hopefully) in (though now is a good time to get a very quiet round in). Play the course off the whites or blacks, only use the yellows if you are 28+ handicapper. But whatever your level, the course is challenging (sloped at 131 of whites) and the golfing experience is worth it.
