Course Review and Comments
Ive played all over Northern NJ... Hunterdon County, Essex County, Sussex County, Warren County, Essex and Morris Counties as well. This was a course that given the out-of-county rates, is not near worth the price. Goose dropping litter the course, and on several holes, you may find yourself hitting just feet from them or having to shoe them away before hitting the golf ball. The water hazards were very poorly maintained. The Bunkers and Greens, however, were in very good shape. The tee boxes were reasonably decent, considering a brutal summer. If you can get past the birds, its a decent course, though I can't believe its the crown jewel of Bergen County Parks. Special nod to the clubhouse food, however, better than average.
