Course Review and Comments
This course is one of the best in the area when considering value and quality, partially because of the lack of golf courses in Mendocino County. There are better options to the South, but for those coming from the north this is the closest regulation length course for most. The course is tough to go low on, but will not give huge challenges to better players. There aren't many blind shots, but there are several changes in elevation.Ratings

| Course Design Comments | The back nine was added after the front, and tends to drag on a little bit, with 7 par fours and only one par three and par five. However, the front nine has a good identity to it, with a good mix of holes that stand out more than those on the back. |

| Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments | The course is kept rather well, but is not immaculate. It tends to stay soggy about a day after a rain, but after that will dry out pretty well. A few spots, such as the bottom of 13, will stay muddy for longer, but those areas don't get much traffic, due to their locations. |

| Course Service Comments | The staff here is always happy and courteous. They do quite a bit to support junior golf in the area and are always friendly. |

| Course Facilities Comments | The clubhouse and putting green are both fine, along with the chipping area. However, the course has no driving range, only two nets to hit in to. This makes warming up a little more difficult. |
