Course Review and Comments
Tryall Golf Club set along Jamaica's North Coast. Designed by Texas architect, Ralph Plummer, the course plays 6,720 from the tips with a Par of 71. A 72.5/133 course/slope rating from the Blues and 71.0/128 from the the Whites. Very tough golf course, great condition, very fast greens. Spectacular views of the ocean, sculpted fairways with interesting trees and plantings. Also, old plantation structures like a water wheel on the course. Tryall has hosted 5 Walker Cups, Mazda Championships, The Jamaica Classic and Shell's Wonderful World of Golf. While there are beautiful villas dotting the hillside overlooking the course, one inparticular is fantastic...it's owned by Lenox Lewis and is gigantic.
If travelling to Jamaica, this is a must play course. Loved this track!!
