Course Review and Comments
May 26, 2008
After being chased off of the course last Fall by the now infamous owner, we decided to try the course one more time. The woman was less than pleasant as I purchased two nine hole tickets at 4:45 PM on a Sunday. We were told that we had to be off of the course by 7:30.
We loaded our clubs on the cart and made it over to the 10th tee and around 5:00 PM our round began. On the 14th hole, here comes the little blue car with the raging lunatic demanding that we play faster! I look around, there is one other person on the course - a walker who is almost two holes behind us.
While just leaving the 17th green, I see the car flying down the cart path again. "You've been on the course WELL over two hours. You should be finished by now." she says. I looked at my cell phone and it is 6:40 PM
We finished nine holes in just under two hours. My wife hasn't played many full size courses and we aren't the fastest players out there but two hours wasn't a bad time. If the course had been better maintained we might have finished sooner. The fairways and rough were in bad shape and needed to be cut. We lost balls in the fairway because they just disappeared.
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to support this course. There are plenty of public courses nearby that are run properly.
