Course Review and Comments

Play stacked up a bit on the back 9. They have some nice practice areas and driving range.

There should be more allowance for walkers who are looking for excercise in addition to cart players. The fees could also be a little lower if the club wants to encourage more people to take up golf. It is a pretty course though. The front driveway can use some flowers.

Price paid for golf 45
Price comments includes required cart before 2:00 on Sunday
Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments The front 9 has a lot of quirky turns and is more spread out. There are a number of spots where less is more on the drives. Holes 10 & 11 are down and up, but then the back 9 becomes parallel level holes.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments The course was dry and in decent shape - the cart paths need work
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments The staff was friendly, as usual. This is the first year that Traditions of Wallingford is running this course.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments The snack hut at Hole 9 was closed and the water coolers were not out, but the yardage markers had been placed. Some of the holes could use a few more yardage markers. The clubhouse is under construction and should be fixed up by June.
