Course Review and Comments

TGCS has the potential to be one of the best - not just in Arizona, but anywhere. Holes 1-12 are the best stretch of golf I've ever seen- exceptional. Unfortunately, the 15th hole is awful- perhaps the worst I've ever seen. Holes 17 and 18 are also very poor. I have heard these comments from a number of other golfers. But the routing is fixable- hopefully one day the members figure out how to get it done. Everything else in the other comments is correct- the buildings, short game area, and driving range are the best in N. Scottsdale. Conditions are perfect- their greenskeeper is a genius.
Given the problems from 15 to 18, this course can't keep up with some of the top AZ courses (Desert Mountain Outlaw, Stone Canyon, Desert Highlands). Hopefully the issues above can be fixed, because if they are, Golf Club Scottsdale will top them all.
