Course Review and Comments
Not the kind of course you will have fun on the first time you play it. You really have to know this layout to play it well. A lot of short tee shots necessary to avoid narrow landing areas. Greens have a lot of slope to them but in excellent condition, medium speed I would rate them. Very unimpressed with the driving range and lack of information available about each hole via the hole signs and score cards. Tide 9 plays mostly through a residential area, short par 5's and short par 3's from the white and blue tees. Timber much nicer 9 and I thought the layout and design were beautiful and fairly well planned. I guess my overall comment would be If you like to hit long drives you will not like this course, If you like to hit a lot of 3 woods and long irons off the tees you will like this course. I think it fits the golfer with a shorter game more of a 230 to 240 off the tee golfer, appears to have the usual design to fit a residential community or retiries type of course. Still overall well maintained, the course only, facilities poor, range terrible, practice putting greens average, sand practice area good, restaurant dirty and generic, pro shop very below average, staff appear all to be pleasant and friendly.
