Course Review and Comments
Truly a gem. The car ride to get there, coming from the south on the Northway, take exit 25, then go north on Rt. 9, right along the Lake George, is inspiring enough. But the course! Awesome! 3 Sisters mountains, or maybe it's 3 Brothers mountains, dominates the Western horizon on this course. Trout Brook comes into play quite a bit. Very dramatic elevation changes. Some of the toughest par threes I've ever played, and #16 is absolutely a world class golf hole. Excellent conditions. The pro, George Mackey, and his staff, are all top notch. If you don't have a great time at Ticonderoga, then you are clinically miserable.
