Course Review and Comments
The course has a different name now. The owner of Sandy Lane in Barbados is a partner in this. It is a magnificant golf course but I thought $250 was alot to pay but the benefit of a high price is that it is not crowded. I saw one foursome on the golf course. You better be driving the ball pretty straight or bring alot of golf balls. You get warmed up on the front nine for a real treat on the back nine. The views are spectacular and the holes are tough. I played the blue tees (6100 yds and I certainly felt the 135 slope). Everyone talksabout hole 13 which is a relatively short par 5 if the wind isn't blowing. It's windy here all the time (average 15 mph) but it wasn't as much of a factor as I thought it would be. This place is a real treat. I stayed at the Tamarind and they advertise themselves as a sister property but that didn't do me any good as far as the rates were concerned. You have to stay at the golf resort to catch a break.
