Course Review and Comments
Very happy with the whole experience, about a 40 minute drive from neighboring Detroit cities. Can see the course from US23, but only one hole is adjacent to it, otherwise, cannot hear the freeway at all. Some great views of Lake Walden, very quiet out there. No complaints, very nice course to play. It truly does have an up north feel for a course so close to several cities. If you live in Michigan, have to play this course at least once. Look forward to playing the "third" nine as well, as I've read it has some incredible views.Ratings

| Course Design Comments | it's a very pretty course, as far as courses I've played, the only things that are better than this are courses that are right on a giant lake, this has great views of Lake Walden on some holes. Good layout, the only thing keeping it from a 5, is if you haven't played there before, tough to know exactly where to hit the driver, hard to get a good target to aim at. if you're spraying driver, could be a long day for you. If you're controlling your driver, the fairways themselves are pretty wide for the most part. |

Only two holes were marked cart path only, and even those holes were not all that wet, greens are very nice, subtle breaks, and good speeds, I like greens a little bit faster, but these are great greens for making putts. |

| Course Service Comments | no complaints, didn't have to deal with much of the staff, and in my opinion, that's how you get a 5, very friendly in the pro shop, very friendly grounds crew, very friendly lady who grabs your clubs from your car and puts them on the cart. Make sure you tip her, you cheapskates! |
