Course Review and Comments

Was a little disappointed in the contion of this course since it is a Troon course. Some of the greens were a little rough for this time of year. I would only play the course again if I got the same deal we received when we played it last time. For $110 you received a dozen Pro V golf balls, unlimited golf (we played 36 that day) and lunch---hard to beat. The course is bit out there west of Phoenix. Wide open fairways and room off the fairways to at least look for wayward tee shots. The hardest part of this course is the bunkering around the greens--unless you're an excellent bunker player it's going to cost you--most of the greenside bunkers are so deep you can't even see the flag out of them much less the green. Pace of play on the first 18 was a little slow--5 hours. The next 18 in the afternoon was much faster since there weren't many people on the course-3 and a half hours--we played much better the second time around. A course that can be played by just about any handicapper.
