Course Review and Comments
Redlands Mesa Golf Course in Grand Junction Colorado has everything we've ever wanted in a golf course. The old saying that golf is a walk in the park, ruined by a little white ball, does not apply. Anyone with anything resembling a human soul can be mesmerized by the beauty of the area this golf course looks out over and runs through. Every hole is different and interesting. The course is very fair to all level of golfer and very unfair with a high distraction level. It's hard to concentrate with all the gorgeous views layed out in every direction. We will keep coming back until we can't golf any more and even then we might just come anyway and try and bribe a drive around the course for old times sake..

I have to admit we might be a bit biased, but we are BIG Jim Engh fans. We have been following his trail of new golf courses from just after Redlands Mesa Opened and have played his courses from Colorado to Idaho, to North Dakota, and anywhere else we can beg our way onto. Redlands Mesa is still my favourite "Engh" design. This is a golf coure designed to be playable for every level of golfer. The routing is fabulous and the vistas are amazing from every tee. |

Redlands Mesa is kept in exceptional shape from May through September. The course is open at each end, but it does "brown out" from late fall till Spring. |

The Golf Course facilities are good, but I'd like to see one more "Restroom" somewhere around the 16th. green. |

Redlands Mesa is ridiculous. All that's missing is the windmill and the clown to be goony golf. I've played a number of TPC courses and none were as hard as this course. Every hole is a trick hole.
