This course is well maintained, however # 8 hole we also most got hit with approaching golfers, even though we stayed well back behind the trees, then on some holes we had to drive back into approaching golfers to exit the fairway. Our tee off was at 1:38pm, we arrived at 1:27pm leaving us very little time to pay load and meet our respected tee time. True I should of got there on time...this was the first time for this course and we left our home in the Rotonda at noon thinking that would be ample time, due to traffic it wasn't. My wife and I had packed a lunch and water for the course, however we were informed we were not permitted food or beverages from outside the course. OK fine. We played our first nine no cartgirl got to the club house on our turn...closed at 3:00pm played the back nine no cart girl...got back to club house at 6:10pm all closed no facilities open for our wives to use or ourselves. Felt right there that wasn't a good practice to leave golfers stranded like this. Next day I returned to the course and spoke with the gentleman in the pro shop to advise him of this practice, he acknowledged this practice of not allowing food and beverages from outside the course it was the law he told me. That's fine, then provide food and beverages. He told me I should of got something on the turn, the food services was closed prior to our turn at 3:50pm. I told him I would not be back to play this course, he advised me to have a nice day sarcastically. I won't be back nor will my friends.
