Course is a links style design, not much in the way of trees, but a tour quality layout. It is built in an upscale residential community, so it appears more trees will be added to compliment the development as it is finished. |

Course condition was immaculate, as you might expect from a private, upscale course. Grass from tee to green is bermuda, with tif-eagle greens in perfect shape. Both times I played, which was on a weekend in February, greens were running about 11 on the stimp. |

Keeping in mind that I was on a complimentary tour as a prospective member, the service was outstanding. However, after questioning other members who I played with, I was assured that the service was like that all the time. A definite plus is the professional caddie program, which is one of the few available at any club in Sarasota, private or not. Believe me, I checked. |

Clubhouse/restaurant/lockers are very impressive...dark cherry woodwork throughout, very upscale. Proshop is not extremely large, but very impressive from a deorating standpoint, again lots of cherry paneling. Well stocked, more than enough for a relatively small membership. This is a golf/tennis facility...no pool, so, not a resort type-atmosphere. Ate there twice so far...dinner and lunch were excellent. |
