Course Review and Comments
Avoid. No fun to play this course. It is very pretty, many trees, but very poorly designed. Particularly the front nine. First hole requires a dead straight long drive to a 30 yard long target between trees. 5 yard short, no shot to the green due to trees and doglike over 90°. Too long and you are out of bounds on the road. Second hole overwater has green sloping away soul holding green is very difficult. Seven hole is a par five with no defined fairway and green talked in behind trees only accessible from very far right. Several holes have green blocked by trees from tea. We gave this three stars for condition as the fairways and rough are in good shape. The greens are unnecessarily sloped with troughs and ridges to pot over. Adds nothing to the course. Number nine is virtually unplayable as a Parfoure. Green is talk behind a stand of trees on top of a hill 40 feet above fairway. First eight holes on the back nine are playable. The rest of the course should have windmills and clown faces. Only a handful of good holes. The rest is tricked up. Husbands and wives will not enjoy playing this course together this nor will children. Many holes border on being unfair and some are unfair.
