Course Review and Comments
Great layout and in great condition. Greens are fast, and feature a tremendous undulations. A new management just took over the course, and they are experiencing some growing pains (there were too few carts available the day I was there). That said, I'd definitely play it again.
If asked to describe the course, I'd say its a variation of a links course. Hit the ball beyond the 15 foot rough, and you'll be in the "heather" (or a Texas variation of it). If you do end up out there, plan on taking some extra balls to reload.
The clubhouse is very nice and comfortable. We had lunch after our round, and the food was standard grill fare. My hot dog and homemade chips were very tasty. The two girls working the grill were sweet and took great care of us.
One item that was lacking... we only saw the beverage cart once, and that was on the 17th hole (we did tee off around 7 though). Once we bought a round of drinks, we had to help the bevcart get going by push starting it. The young lady said it had been broken for over a month.
The $65 we paid seemed fair. That included a cart (without gps), but the proshop did give us complimentary yardage books. I live near West Ridge golf course, which charges a very similar fee, and the Bridges is a far superior course.

The only positive aspect of our entire experience was the Marshall (players assistant). He was extremely nice and helpful.

Tough track in 40mph gusts. Number 18 could not be reached in three from back tee into wind. I shot 87 and I'm nearly scratch, that is how difficult it is.(or maybe it was just the wind.) None the

I played The Bridge for the first time on April 19. Despite the winds blowing all day at 20+ MPH, I truly enjoyed this course and can't wait to go back.

Great design. Beautiful topography! Wouldn't believe in North Texas. Great variety in holes. Just plain fun, yet will definitely challenge you! The greens in excellent condition. Worth the drive.

Although new, it was still in very good shape. Scenery around the course isn't that great considering there are nothing but empty homesites out there, but the holes themselves are intriguing. Greens a
