Course Review and Comments
I have been fortunate enough to play many championship golf courses around the world, and Tetherow ranks as an "elite" golf course in my opinion, on a level similar with Lahinch, The European, Whistling Straits, Portrush, Bandon Dunes etc.
I will play this course again, again and again, and I live 10 hours away in the Sacramento area.

A caddy is a must for your first round. If I'm able to play again, I would pay for caddy.
I can see where the players who experienced the course when it first opened were disappointed with the &q

Fabulous course, like playing in Scotland. beautiful views, elevated tees, true greens, fabulous fore caddies to line up your putts. Just hit the ball and enjoy. Difficult course, but fair and fun!

We all read the mixed reviews of this golf course before we played it today. After the round we can honestly say that the negative comments must have either been written by competitors or casual "

VERY CHALLENGING COURSE, ESPECIALLY ON THE GREENS! DIFFERENT GOLF THAN WHAT I'M USED TO IN NORTH TEXAS. FIRST TIME OUT USE A FORE CADDIE-- ENORMOUSLY HELPFUL READING VERY UNDULATING PUTTING SURFACES.

This course ranks right up there with the Bandon courses. Wish I could afford to play here all season. It's the kind of course that you need to play several times to get to know where to aim and ho

I love the links style courses and this course was fantastic. A caddie is a good idea too.

Difficult course. Definitely need a caddie/fore-caddie. If the wind is not up, a well played round will still not hit handicap differential. If the wind is up, no one over scratch should step up to

I play only the 4 star courses, this was definitely a 5 star! It was snowing and I still loved it.
Can't wait to go back and play this fabulous course.

What a disappointment. The greens are not playable, and the fairways are full of junk. I like a challenge, but I want it to be fair. I will not play this course again. Our caddie said that most pla

I'm a 4 hdcp and love links golf. I've played all over Ireland and been to Bandon 4 times and in my humble opinion....this course is terrible. Tee to green is tolerable (although highly over-designe

Tetherow is perhaps the best example of an "over designed" course that I have seen.

unfair golf course. Tough fairways for driving and big green with lots of undulations. either one works but not both. I would put this it the top 5 of bad golf courses I have ever played and I play

Comparable to Ireland's & Scotland's best. Challenging? You bet. Unfairly difficult? Nope, just requires shot making and certainly not typical resort golf. Shoot close to your handicap and pat you

Sorry, but even thought the clubhouse, staff, and condition of the course was very good, I feel the design is just way too tricked up to allow for an enjoyable or fun round of golf - too much work. T

David Kidd has created a stunning Heathland course just outside of Bend. The panaramic views of the Cascades are spectacular and the course blends well with the high desert. Tetherow will only get bet
