Course Review and Comments

Not only "no", but "hell-no!" (see above) They are running a "deal" for just under $500 per month - this would need to be $100 per month with no initiation for me to even look. Even if the condition was not normal (summer can get nasty), people in AZ play all year round. I have played once or twice per week all summer, and there is no excuse for this - all other courses were better and some $30 courses (Trilogy Vistancia) were like Winter condition. They will never get membership and might not be a golf course much longer at this rate.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments It is boring and feels like they tried hard to make it exciting. Very random; no thought on some of the holes. Number 15 is a blind tee shot....sort of, then there are mounds on the right side and you never know where to hit. Then you get to your ball and wonder what in the hell they were thinking - no rhyme or reason. Terrible ambiance - power lines right overhead; you could feel the buzzing.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments I have never played a course in as bad shape as this - what a piece of crap. Fairways were nasty and dirt, greens were OK but dry and sandtraps were pebbles and stones. Even if you are having issues with your turf, there is no excuse for crappy rocky traps. TERRIBLE!!
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments Pro shop had the balls to say we needed to tuck in our shirts - I understand the private club notion, but this place was worse than the $10 municipals in town; they should allow wife-beater tanktops. All of the members playing acted like they were at a $200,000 course. Never said hello and did not respond when I said hello - I guess I would be pissed if I was paying for that piece of trash too.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments Inside looked very nice; great locker room. Range was municipal - free balls and tees to make it feel like your money is worth it. Chipping area was like the fairways - finding some grass was tough. Practice greens were actually just like the course greens -that was a plus for practice.
