Course Review and Comments

The Pines is a good course with varied holes that are a fair test of your golf. Fairways are quite undulating, which means you frequently get sloping lies. To some, this may have been done to a greater degree than necessary but personally I think it was quite OK.
When we played the course it was set up short, with the yellow tees on many holes being placed at the blue distance marker (the tee system is: white/yellow/blue/red in descending length order). If played from the white tees, it would doubtless be a tough challenge.
The course's condition was very good, but the greens were somewhat slow. Doubtless this may vary with the time of year and so on.
All in all, a very pleasant experience.
