Course Review and Comments

I plsyed this course when it only had 9 holes in the 1970's. The wind was almost always a factor, the rough was thick, the fairways were narrow and up and down and the course was long. The par 3 over the water (#5?) is the best hole I've played in over 40 years of playing golf. The hole played roughly 160 meters back then and the green was elevated and overlooked the green and an inlet of the ocean. My Dad's heart skipped a beat everytime I played my hook out over the ocean, no matter how strong the ocean wind was blowing. The hardest wind to play was when it wa sin your face. I learned the finer points of the game on this course and it remains the most challening public course I've ever played.
