Course Review and Comments
Great to play the course the pros play. We played the back nine first and got to experience 16, 17 and 18 when still fresh. Great course but a few greens were almost unplayable due to sanding and a few just so so. All in all, a GREAT day although very pricey. However, for a "once in a lifetime" experience, go for it!

This is in my top 3 best tests of golf with Oakmont and Kiawah Ocean course. Fair but demands intelligent shot selection and execution.

One of Pete Dye's more difficult designs, among his many difficult works.
Can be a bear, especially if the wind is blowing. Plays a lot better now since they re-did the irrigation.

This is a very good course that has an incredible finish. 16,17, and 18 are all tough, challenging and - if you land your shot on the green at 17 - fun. The new clubhouse adds a sense of grandeur.
