Course Review and Comments
A must for any visit to St. Andrews.The fact that it overlooks the water and St. Andrews cannot be underestimated. The views are spectacular. It is potentailly more difficult than the Olde Course. I played with my three children (son and two daughters)who have all been members on their high school golf teams and we all enjoyed it immensely. As those who know Scottish weather can attest, the weather can be unpredictable. We spent five days in St. Andrews in mid April and had five days of sunshine and no rain. I have been to St. Andrews twice before in June and August, and this trip I experienced the best weather by far. If you play only two courses in St. Andrews area this is a must after the Olde Course. It was my childrens first visit to Scotland and all of them still talk about how friendly and helpful the citizens of St. Andrews were.
