Course Review and Comments
It is not the hardest or scenic course in the world. It is just the COOLEST and a definite must play!!!! Everything is top notch. Pay the money and take a caddy, the course has too many blind shots, hidden bunkers, tricky greens and our caddy added to the experience with stories and perspective to the round. Everything you see on tv during the OPEN is there and you will play it, you will have to hit over the shed on #17, picture on Swilcan Bridge on #18, etc... I can't say enough of the experience of playing this course, it is well worth the flight and cost. The greens are slower then the typical American course, but they true.The day I played it was extremely windy and our foursome just enjoyed the round and did not worry about scoring. Take your camera because all of your golfing friends will want to see them. I can't wait for my son to get old enough to play the course forcing me to go back to St. Andrews!!!!
