Course Review and Comments

A classic design from early 20th century. Originally planned as a south course for a country club with plenty of bunkers for a public course. Great layout especially for the lack of undulations provided by midwest terrain. Greens are undulating, are well groomed and fast comparable to any country club. For the price, and ease of location, you won't find a better value in all of NW Ohio.
I have played this course since I was a kid. I have lived in Myrtle Beach as well and I can't think of any public course that compares to this (classic style). I only wish someone would rake the bunkers at the end of every day. This would be one of the top 100 public courses in America if they did.

Course Facilities Comments They have a golf dome, and a practice range for lessons only. If it was incorporated with a full range facility, it would be perfect. Luckily there is a full range facility only about 1 mile away.
