Course Review and Comments
Played before upgrade for Open, but shortly enough after the San Diego Open that course was still in tough condition, especially the rough. I have played North four times and enjoy it as much, especially since my game appreciates that easier route, but the South's challenges will test our best in the U S Open coming up

The course design is slightly overrated. The ocean views obviously make the course but it does have the mystique and that's why it is worth to play this course at least once. I would play it again i

Yes I would play it again if San diego County Rates would go into affect again.
I would recommend other course before Torrey because of the outrageous price to play a barely above average golf cour

Torrey Pines South isn't as close to overrated as it used to be - before its 2008 U.S. Open revamp. But it's still overrated and overpriced for what it is.

I have played over 100 courses and this course has it all. It is fair and not very intimidating but very difficult. The approach shots put pressure on your irons. I hit great tee shots and had a time

Scenery aside, the "improvements" to make it US OPEN "caliber" have actually deproved the course for the average golfer. Design is average at best to start with and by stretching
