Course Review and Comments

they have to get the greens in shape or it's not fun to play...I think this course is overpriced at $99 and way overpriced at anything above that..

Date course was played Thursday 10th of February 2011
Price paid for golf 99
Price comments we were paired with locals who paid $60..being from La Quinta that was ok with me as I used to pay $35 to play SilverRock while others paid $125 or more during season but they posted what you paid on the back of your cart..How strange..paid $65 to rent clubs which I thought was way out of line..probably thought I wouldn't come back since I live out of the area and they are right.

Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments the greens had bald spots..super fast..some sort of rot..one green had a huge what appeared to be a tire track or patch job possibly from repair..a few holes had cups on sides of ridges so if you didn't sink the putt the ball would roll back to you or behind you..really unpleasant because of the greens..a 2 putt was really good...greens were terrible as even the locals agreed..tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. Bought a yardage book which didn't list a patch of desert.(rocks, sand, and brush bisecting the fairway from a blind tee box so we all hit into that area and 2 of us lost balls not to mention strokes..
