Course Review and Comments
Now mind you, this course is a challenge, pick your tee blocks wisely. on a windy day the gusts can easily sustain 50 mile an hour. on a mild day you are still looking at 10-15 mph winds with gusts up to 25. The course manager will recomend the challenge teese, these are a good set to start from, expect to loose some balls, if you land the ball in the fairway you may not be pleased with where it ends up. I have played with people who think that a well stuck shot should be reqarded, this is true, but a good hit needs a well thought out aproach in order to find the fairway or green, this is a course that is designed for continuous play it will take many rounds to learn where all the proper layup positions are. Until that point just be prepared to loose many balls.

I don't want to hear anyone complain tht the course has to many repetitive par 3's each green is different, the wind makes each shot play differently. So the posted distances are not the same. Also each hole is so far spread out that you rarely see other players. |

What can I say, the course played true all day long, it was early summer so the natural grasses were beginning to thin out a bit. The sand always seems a little wet for me, but this particular day the sand was dry and very playable. |

The staff at check in always seems very friendly, and the cart girls were plentiful, I suppose that some of the other reviewers hit a low day for the cart girls, I have always seen two or three running around the course. The staff in the pro shop could use a little coustomer service overhaul. they tend to lo0ok down on me everytime I play, they aren't rude, it's just that if you want to get their attention it can be hard. |

The practice faclities are very nice, the practice green is long and fast with plenty of undilations. the chipping surfae is also well mantained. the practice sand trap is about the same depth and sand consistancy as the ones on the course. The driving range has plenty of length, it is a nice manicured grass driving surface but I have always felt that the way the range was designed, one feals a little pinned in. The range is over 300 yeards, I know this, but the distances over 200 yards are over a hill side so you can't see where your longer drives end up. I know it's a minor commplaint, but it's my prefference. Also if or when they install large flood light on the range, I will be more than happy to make their range my favorite night driving range. |

a tough course for sure, exacerbated by wind. the native grasses make any errant shot a lost ball, and with no parallel fairways, you have to keep it in the short stuff. watch the forecast for winds

This is just a clarification. I tried to put my handicap down as not established. I've only been playing for a year. I also tried to put the price I paid down as 2 for 1 through " Club 19 Golf &q

What a tough course. Windy day, so keeping the ball on the fairway was tough. Lost my first ball when my approach shot was about 2 feet to the left of the #1 green, watched it bounce and into a reed

I read a negative review of this fine course and couldn't believe it. Obviously, this 14 handicapper Holman had more agenda than game. This is one of the only real links style courses you can play in

I do not know why a course would set a course up this way with second cut of rough being over 4 inches. The rough is all native grasses also and results in a lost ball in most places and 6 hour round
