Course Review and Comments
I am writing this in response to your approach for free golf at sevillano links. Brian Dahmer the director of golf at sevillano was behind the counter when you entered the pro shop. Brian asked you "how did your round go today" you responded well "the greenskeeper was mowing the whole time and ruined my round". Brian said well sir I am sorry and as soon as you called from the course and made the pro-shop aware we called our superintendant matt hoyt and made him aware of the situation and protocol was reiterated with the employee in question. Mr. Holman in addition to your response to the director of golf you suggested that they mow after the prime-time paying customer. In short sir what you are saying is that the people who pay premium prime-time rates should play on fuzzy greens and previuos day pin placements. Mr.Holman rather than complaining about a mower on a golf course in the morning maybe you should take this time as they are doing there job to make their course one of the finest premiere golf destinations in northern california to practice a few putts or chips on the green and let them get ahead of you a hole or two. I am sure the three ladies who are playing behind would not know the difference nor would they mind. I am certain your 14 handicap could use a little time around a freshly mowed green. Mr.Holman you also expressed to brian that "I review golf courses a few rounds of free golf might help me forget about my experience with the mower". Mr.Holman did you really think that statement was going to get you free golf?. Mr.Holman Sevillano Links at Rolling Hills Casino provides unsurpassed customer service with a smile, supplies the highest quality products, offers an exceptionally well maintained golf course and continually exceeds their customers expectations. Mr.Holman you mentioned a little peace and quiet on a golf course is all you expect. I hear they have a fly fishing club on the lake that surrounds the 16th green. Although you probably do not want to get to close to the green though in your boat. You just may hear those greenskeepers mowing a green in the morning and as for the bad taste in your mouth you left with try new orbit gum I hear it does wonders for a dirty mouth.

So, I have played the course at least a dozen times. To everyone who has difficulty with this course, and I am no exception, I have found that learning to putt better, choosing the CORRECT tee blocks,

a tough course for sure, exacerbated by wind. the native grasses make any errant shot a lost ball, and with no parallel fairways, you have to keep it in the short stuff. watch the forecast for winds

Now mind you, this course is a challenge, pick your tee blocks wisely. on a windy day the gusts can easily sustain 50 mile an hour. on a mild day you are still looking at 10-15 mph winds with gusts up

This is just a clarification. I tried to put my handicap down as not established. I've only been playing for a year. I also tried to put the price I paid down as 2 for 1 through " Club 19 Golf &q

My job has allowed me to play many courses in Northern California this year. I have had the priviledge of playing some beautiful courses, including Sevillano Links. I have played this course many time

What a tough course. Windy day, so keeping the ball on the fairway was tough. Lost my first ball when my approach shot was about 2 feet to the left of the #1 green, watched it bounce and into a reed

I read a negative review of this fine course and couldn't believe it. Obviously, this 14 handicapper Holman had more agenda than game. This is one of the only real links style courses you can play in

I had both a good and bad experience at Sevillano.
First thing is the practice area. I would consider it first rate. Driving range, practice green and putting green were all in excellent shape. Th

I do not know why a course would set a course up this way with second cut of rough being over 4 inches. The rough is all native grasses also and results in a lost ball in most places and 6 hour round
