Course Review and Comments

Played on July 4. This is an excellent mountain course and the public course I've been waiting for in Western NC. Spellbinding scenery, there is some up and down but there are plenty of level or gently sloping lies. Greens rolled fast (but not linoleum) and true. Yes the course still needs to mature, particularly with the tough terrain it's set on, but it is already extremely playable. Great bunkering and elevation changes, mostly plays downhill with one or two exceptions. Think they did a great job siting this on such unique terrain. Not sure why they built the clubhouse so small, wasting a great view to put a killer patio and outside grill. Also need detailed flip charts on carts (please, no GPS!)to help navigate your way around. Also range was closed the morning I played. I can't wait to play this again and hope to bring my buds back with me.
