Course Review and Comments
I played Hickory Stick on media day and enjoyed the course tremendously. The starter and ranger gave helpful advice IF LISTENED TO, while the course afforded bail out areas for those who can't make the heroic play. When RTJ2 offers a monumental carry over a hazard, it also provides an alternate route. Lesser players should seek those alternate routes, in order to save golf balls, strokes and curse words.
Ultimately, this course will have first-class putting green, clubhouse and practice facilities. Until then, the preview rate is quite fair.

Fantastic course at a reasonable price.
It would cost about $150 in Toronto for a course of this calibre.

Beautiful course, very lush fairways. Greens were however fairly shaggy for a course of this stature. Nice design, but
a few blind shots, which I hate. No clubhouse. Condition rating would have been
