Course Review and Comments
My favorite course on the Oregon coast ( can't afford Bandon Dunes, etc.) Come over from the Central part of Oregon 2-3 times a year to play the course. Rees Jones designed. Wind DOES blow. Played it when wind was blowing 35mph, gusting 40. 380 yd par 4 into wind becomes a par 5, 165 yd par 3 into wind needs a 3 wood. Downwind is a blast. If you don't like wind, tee off before 8 am. NEVER tire of this course. Just superb!

Mid January and dry as a bone! Hard to get any better winter conditions. Great layout and very challenging even from the white tees because of the wind. Wonderful finishing 3 holes around the lake.

Had just come from Bandon Dunes and felt the greens were even better here. Nice mix of golf holes, forest, sand dunes and a wind swept lake. I usually play this course in spring or fall and a round ha
