Course Review and Comments

I play most of my golf in the South of Seattle and on the Kitsap Peninsula. I'll rate this golf experience right up there with the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain (Salish Cliffs has better course conditions.) The course is much more playable than Chambers Bay for mid handicappers.

The golf carts are awesome! Electric... so there is no noise. The GPS is a touch screen that makes it simple to plan shots. Each hole has a video flyover with tips on how to play the hole.

The twilight rate is an excellent value even during the peak season... even though it is a bit spendy for my budget - however, I'll be playing this course 5-10 times per year.

I have not played the course in winter conditions so I don't know how it holds up. But for dry and/or summer conditions this course ranks in my top 3 for Western Washington (Chambers Bay, Salish Cliffs, Washington National.)

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments I absolutely love the elevation changes and elevated tee shots on many of the holes.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Phenomenal conditions. Maybe the most level tee boxes in Western Washington... at least in the South Puget Sound area.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments It's first class. They put your clubs on the car for you, provide range balls, and clean up your clubs at the end of the round. Did not partake of the service cart... I was there to play golf!!!
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments The clubhouse is very nice. Two levels for dining. Well placed television sets for sports viewing.

The pro shop is nice. It's a bit small and not a lot of selection on golf equipment.

The course is terrific, winding through the wilderness (no houses in sight) with tons of elevation change. The fairways are generous, but if you stray on your tee shot, the second cut is just brutal. ... more»
