Course Review and Comments
The course had a uniqueness to it that I have not seen before. The first 13 holes are present in the center of a large horse/camel? racing complex. A very long race track surrounds the course, and trainers were out riding horses when we showed up for our tournement. Bunkers and water hazards were placed very well. The fairways are narrow, giving it a traditional feel, but as in a desert environment, there are no trees on the first 13 holes. Small trees and dog legs are incorporated in the last five holes. There were a couple more 3 par holes than usual. Par for the course is 70. We really enjoyed playing here. The grass was very well kept, and the grounds for the club were excellent. The restaurant served a great breakfast and lunch. It couldn't have been a more pleasant day of golf.
