Course Review and Comments

We went with great expectations. It is difficult to get to this location as it is still in development and Roco Ki resort is a construction site. We are taken to the first tee in a jeep as their is no clubhouse. The course is very young with patchy fairways and greens. More importantly, the layout is unimpressive (some ugly, rocky terrain in bewteen a few ocean holes and some pretty holes through the mangroves). The course is very penal as nearly all the fairways are rounded leading to jungle. Bring plenty of balls. The postcard hole is 17 which is supposed to be like the 7th at Pebble but the yardage is wrong, the green too hard to accept a high shot and it is a mess. Save the drive and play the Nicklaus course at Cap Cana or the Dye Course (la Cana) at Punta Cana.
