Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments The hole design and course layout is wonderful. There were some crowded sections on the front nine (4,5 and 9) and some distance between holes on the back nine (10, 11, 12?). The carts allow the latter to be downplayed.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments The overseeding was not a factor in the rating here. The main factor was the greens. About 11 of the greens had dead spots filled with sand. In particular the 5th green was in aweful condition. At least 15% of the green was covered in sand in a futile attempt to promote grass regrowth. These greens were the worst greens I have seen. I grew up in texas and played throughout the summer. the greens at the muni's there were never as poorly maintained as this #62 destination course.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments The bar staff was friendly enough while putting a 6 pack and ice into a cardboard beer box. There were no coolers only empty beer boxes. The cart staff were apparently convinced their course was the best course in the area and they did not have to be cordial to patrons.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments In the clubhouse there is a single tv for watching a game after your round. The driving range was partitioned to allow only 10 people to hit balls.
