Course Review and Comments
Very neat layout. A light hearted fun test for the average player's golf game. Very tight fairways w/ tons of cleverly placed trees & bushes & very small greens. The layout makes up for lack of yardage/ distance by routing the player through a narrow track with both hidden & obvious trouble in the form of water carries..., mounds, little boggie ponds, & both grass & sand bunkers thoughtfully located in just about every place a not-so-good shot might decide to land.. Couple very pretty holes. Bring your camera & snap a picture of #7. It's one of the most beautiful short par 3's I've seen in person. And bring a couple extra balls for your first round on the course because you will be sure to end up losing one or two to one of the many hazards. Some course knowledge goes a long way out here. Well placed shots are rewarded. Course conditions are very much in line with what one would expect for the greens fees. All this bang for the buck is topped off by a pleasently courtious & good natured staff that is working hard & having fun trying to help people have some fun with The Game of Golf. I had a blast out there playing w/ the 3 clubs the nice guy in the pro shop loaned to me for my unplanned round & I'm looking forward to more good times on the course (w/ my own quip.).
