Course Review and Comments

The course design is at times odd and it makes for a very challenging round. There are elevated tees, elevated greens with impossible breaks, water that you can't see when you are teeing off and a number of hidden obstacles that make it extremely tough. The lack of a couse map or layout in the score cards only makes things worse.

For example, the 16th hole (Maybe it's the 15th) is supposed to be a par 3 but it is a 90 degree right-side dogleg with water obstructed by trees to your right. The fairway in front of you as you tee-off is steep and rolls towards the tee box. strange little hole...

The cart paths are inconsistent. Some are concrete but several, specially in the back nine, are still gravel. At times, you don't know where to go because there are no signs indicating the route to follow.

There is no clubhouse, just a mobile home being used as office and "clubhouse." There is no place to get a bite if you get hungry and the prices for the few available beverages and snacks are absurd. $3 for a small bottle of Gatorade?

The course has potential but it needs a lot of work. I would recommend lookig for an alternative until these guys get their act together.
