Course Review and Comments

I first played this course late summer last year (August 2009), just after the course had opened. I was fairly impressed with the course, other than the fact that they had no course map and no yardage markers. Everything was guess work. The course, however, was in fairly good condition.
I played the course today for the first time since and was extremely disappointed. They did have yardage markers, which was about the only positive of the day. They still don't have a map of the holes so you have no idea what to expect unless you drive ahead to check out the hole. The greens were mostly dirt, with very little grass, although they promote that they have mini Verde greens. The "fully stocked clubhouse" is still a trailer with hardly anything to offer. The course has a beautiful layout and has the potential of being one of the nicer courses in the Charlotte area, but the owners/management need to pay to groom the course properly. I certainly wouldn't pay $40 again to play this course unless something drastic changes. I don't plan on playing this track again.
