Course Review and Comments

This is a moderately priced, scenically attractive course that plays tougher than its yardage would indicate. The greens are challenging, but fair, and many of the holes require a fade or a draw rather than just hitting the ball. The fairways are tree-lined on every hole and the topography is surprisingly varied featuring a rolling landscape with several tees offering great views of the Santa Maria Valley. My favorite hole is #7--a 500 yard par 5 that starts uphill, then down toward a green considerably below the tee. A par is a good score on #7 for any golfer. Your reward is #8--a driveable par 4. Love it!
