Course Review and Comments

Definitely a course well worth playing - if not just for the superb scenery. Some of the greens are beautifully framed and blend very well into the surroundings. The front 9 is the better half, and it is nice to place a course that has not been designed to leave you feeling like you want to melt your clubs down and take up fishing. It is also a pleasure to play a course that have has very natural feel, not too manicured, but yet is still well kept.
Overall, a great experience and I would strongly recommend it to anybody visiting this part of the world.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments The reason for such a high design rating is the how the scenery has been incorporated into the experience. Whilst it is not a tough or long course, there is definite reward in putting your ball in the right place off the tee.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments The greens are a little wooly, which takes quite a bit of getting used to, but the length of the grass on the faiways and the fact that it is not too pristine give the course a much more earthy and real feel. Sheep wondering around as you play your shot make it a relaxing and rewarding experience.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments The members that I met were all very friendly, as was the guy working behind the bar.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments The clubhouse (or shack) is very basic and not open for that many hours, meaning that you leave your money in the Honesty Box. However, the toilest etc are in good condition and kept very clean.
