Course Review and Comments
Went with a friend to play 18 and figured we'd try out a local, new to us course. First impressions were that the course was nice and fairly well maintained plus the price was right. This changed immediately after pulling up to the second tee. Get ready to tee off and there's a barrage of carts crossing into the fairway of the par 3. Since the first 4 holes run parallel, the hooks and slices lead to everyone converging on the hole. Figure it’s no big deal as we aren’t the best players either. After the circus clears we continued with our round. Each and every hole we had to wait to tee off and slowly progressed through our round. Around the 11th we were met by a not so friendly ranger who told us that there was a 5-some behind us and that if caught we would have to leave. I guess thanks for the warning but we have been held up our whole round. We see the ranger again at the 14th that has come to check on progress and we explain that we’re still directly behind multiple groups. Over 5 hours later we finally finish up and express our disapproval of how they treated us in the pro shop which falls on deaf ears. With the price of golf in CT, I’ll bring my business elsewhere from now on.
