Course Review and Comments
Well, I played this coarse and it's a very mixed bag. The area it is in loads to so much potential, but the designer clearly had drunk a bit to much of his coarse's very fine whisky. The 3rd reminded me of a hole I could probably recreate in my back garden. BUT, could I recreate those greens? Yeah, in my sleep, and only in my sleep, in my dreams! They were wonderful, like putting on a very fine silk carpet... The service in the restaurant was of a decent standard, but the pro-shop was poor, I went into buy a sleeve of balls before I teed of, and was told 'nagh, we don't sell them' it surprised me that a golf club wouldn't sell balls, so I looked around and found several sleeves, what he should have said was 'nagh, I'm to lazy to look'. Then after my 68 I walked into the restaurant, sorry did I say 68? Got my digits wrong, meant 86... But I was cheered up by the amazing food and drink I was served! Really, it was very good. So all in all, I would go back to play it, because if they fixed a few holes it could be a great coarse, what with the food and conditioning. But until those changes have been made, I would not recommend it... Sorry Barry! (The lazy man who served me in the pro shop)!

OK - I got over my 9 hole snobbery and played this course. Its a little cracker and well worth the visit. The greens were pretty good for a river valley. The course set up is very interesting indeed a
