Course Review and Comments

As previously posted, the conditions are rapidly deteriorating, both on and off the course.
On the course, Dollar Spot and Pythium are now prevalent, and spreading rapidly. If the owner does not approve the chemicals needed to deal with the situation ASAP, the course will need major and costly repairs. With the Superintendent gone, getting ahead of the problem is not likely.
Today, with the owners infatuation with GolfNow, and his desire to get the most out of the greens fees, the tee sheet was overbooked. I am all for fast play, but booking tees times for every 4 minutes, is not going to get that done.
I have been a member since the opening of Deer Run, I have played through the tough times once, but wont do it again. I like the layout of the course, and it has a ton of potential, but this owner has not clue.
As said previously, almost all of the good staff are gone, those left are trying, but with an absentee owner, and no qualified superintendent, the future is not bright.
The only reason I say I would play it again, is that I have money left on my card, I wont leave a penny on the card.
