Course Review and Comments

Another storm is brewing over PNGC. It seems as though the new owner has more interest in running a restaurant than running a golf course. First, a lot of the good employees have quit or have been let go, including the superintendent, and their best bar tender (a couple of weeks ago, the people behind the bar did not know how to run the cash register.) They have taken their best ranger and put him in the pro shop and re-hired a ranger who helps little. They charge a hefty fee, but the draft beer selection is on the lower end of the spectrum. Clover is in abundance, work stopped on the practice range for an extended period of time, reportedly because of non-payment. Rumor is that play at St. Jude is way down, and it looks like the same will hold true at PNGC. From someone who has been a member since the course first opened, and fought thru the bad times, it looks like hope for a turnaround may have been short lived, and that is disappointing at best. I's not too late, but action needs to be taken soon.
