I read all reviews before booking this course but couldn't find the information I wanted so I hope this helps. The course is great. I can't say it was a value for Myrtle Beach since I haven't played that many courses here. The design is smart. The par 3's may be short but with smaller landing areas over water. The par 4's that are longer have huge traps and a few narrower landing areas to keep you concentrating while the shorter par 4's have natural obstacles and doglegs that make intelligent placement a must. What I enjoyed was the variation from narrow to wide fairways and landing areas, from use of water and traps, and various distances and tee box spots. It's a well balanced course that is a joy to play with a few holes you'll be talking about for years. Nothing special about the clubhouse/snackbar/pro shop but it's all about the course here. Great people and not crowded during the week.
