Course Review and Comments
Arrived for a pre-booked 7am T time, only to fine the club house deserted (we let ourselves in).
The course was in very poor condition, with the 2nd hole closed entirely (a temporary hole had been lodged in after the 9th).
The design of the course includes lots of sandy rough. These areas were often low to the fairway, and played like enormous damp bunkers, but with footprints and tyre tracks furrowed into them.
I wouldn't advise playing the Montgomery without a stroke saver, or at all if you have a handicap of over 15.

Disgraceful condition, greens awful and service/staff even worse. Only thing worth talking about were the views and potential.
