Course Review and Comments

This is a very nice course if you are a member. This course was previously a private course. This course has recently become open to the public. The existing members are very "snobish." we were playing behind a foursome that was walking the course. This did not pose a problem since we leave our whole Sunday open just for golf and are never in a hurry. The group behind us (members) were purposely driving into us. One golfer in our party was even struck by a ball at one point. On the 8th hole after numerous close calls of being struck and one golfer already struck, we conceited the members. The members called the range master, who reported quickly. When the issue was explained to the range master his answer was "well they are members." Our group spends an average of $480.00 a month on golf and this was absolutly unacceptable. We ended up cutting our game short after the 8th hole because we were too aggrivated to continue. The club did issue us rainchecks which was a nice gesture. However, we discarded them due to the fact that we will never return after being treated soo
porley. I would not recommend this course to anyone unless getting looked down apon and being treated like a peasant by snobbish members is something you are looking for in a course. There are many other fine course choices in SW Florida to choose from.
