Course Review and Comments

No doubt a one time prestige-resort course in need of some TLC. (Just look at the tennis courts) It's a great design, well watered, fairways & bunkers OK but greens were neglected (badly) with what felt like a furry 3 day growth. The place was not aided by proper signs. Also, the 15th hole had the diagram (display)backwards, ie; opposite to the way you played the hole! For $49 (say 50 + booking fee!), it is essentially $20 for the cart and $30 for the round per person. OK for value but overall experience was found wanting. Greens were very bumpy as if maintained by a part-time un-professional keeper. Will not play here again soon because there are MANY BETTER courses closeby. The cart though well charged, had nowhere to put the sand buckets except behind the seat(where they were found) & where you normally put personall belongings. Either that or have them at your feet. No ice bucket, infact, no bucket. It may have been a one time great course which is now trying hard to be the $100+/round course as marketed. It plays better than the usual $30/round course but not by much. Some are infact BETTER! No wonder Clive got it at a cheap price.
